Aphria Inc. APHA

Aphria, which is headquartered in Ontario, produces and sells medicinal and recreational cannabis. The company operates through retail and wholesale channels in Canada and internationally. Aphria is a main distributor of medical cannabis to Germany and has operations in over 10 countries outside of Canada. However, it does not have exposure to the U.S. CBD or THC markets due to the constraints of federal prohibition. It has some U.S. exposure through the acquisition of SweetWater, a craft brewer

Two More Ignores

Two More IgnoresI am not quite sure why some feel the need to trash other companies, or individuals.

For those who had the foresight to buy CRON, well done.

I chose to stick with APHA as I thought it would turn the corner quicker.  It has not, but at this point I believe the potential gains are still there.  Indeed, in hindsight it would have been nice to switch to CRON in mid Dec (and I would be buying back APHA this week).  Then again, in hindsight I wish I sold APHA on 17 Oct, 2018 and missed the Altria miss and subsequent short attack.  So much promise followed by an epic failure.  Yes, despite not knowing all the details I fault the CEO and hope he eventually disappears.

So here we are. With every negative post, personal slew of insults, and other company bashing on this site I wonder what type of people actually own APHA stock.  This is of course compounded by the infighting of the US politicians.  Truly, what a bunch.  Is this actually making things great again?

I remain hopeful a new CEO will be announced, a JV or partial buy in, and HC approvals.  As was said, it seems to be an agonizing long time given the ride we’ve been on.  In the meantime I hope there is some solution that gets the 800,000 government employees back to work.  I actually thanked the Border Servces person who checked my passport and the TSA folks who checked my bags.  I did wonder what impact it would have on my travels.  So far it has been negligible.

Fingers crossed for next week.  I hope the entire sector takes off.
