Aphria Inc. APHA

Aphria, which is headquartered in Ontario, produces and sells medicinal and recreational cannabis. The company operates through retail and wholesale channels in Canada and internationally. Aphria is a main distributor of medical cannabis to Germany and has operations in over 10 countries outside of Canada. However, it does not have exposure to the U.S. CBD or THC markets due to the constraints of federal prohibition. It has some U.S. exposure through the acquisition of SweetWater, a craft brewer

What does this sector need badly? Some REAL analyst's that understand the sector.

The link below from this morning is a good watch.
He has both APHA and GGB stocks so he is neutral.

Of note he says CDN assets of APHA worth $12-14 on their own, so a lowball opportunistic offer
The offer is a start of a process of others looking into doing the same, which is what PROF has been alluding too
Which in turn he thinks APHA wont exist as a company in 6 months because of this process.

Is it just me, or did I not get a strong sense from watching this morning's BNN girls' report on the Green Growth Aphria takeover bid, that the attitude of BNN folk is quite negative toward pot stocks. Seems they relish any negative-looking angle they can bring up.

It's like the New York debutante trying to socialize with her sister's new hippie boyfriend, and it's not hard to tell she's not impressed.

Agree with all the posts above. Even though they are on BNN, they are just reading a script. They read many during the day, you are able to tell these are not self-thought out questions from the question, No Clue. Reminds me of children trying to act like adults. The sad thing is a lot of uninformed retail investors have no clue themselves.I remember when we were shocked at Canopy being twice our price, it is now beyond ridiculously compared, beyond reason.
