Crius tried to change its business model. They do just fine when they stick with what they know. 

I don't know what was going through their heads at that time. I think they had their heads in Europe or India and somehow thought they would get in on the ground floor here.

They still retain the California portion of Solar, where there is enough sunlight to make it feasible and the California State government is mandating that construction of new homes include solar panels on their roof tops.

I don't know how far the California regulations have advanced or if they've even been enacted but that will definitely create some demand.

Still, it sounds like they're sticking to what they know best and that's brokering energy.
