22 Jan 2019 NR, New high-grade zone 7m below FDVI am trying to understand the information presented in this NR, including a good sketch of hole AZ15-013, just 7m below the FDV. It's a good sketch for illustration purposed, an artist conception, but the company could have done a better job (e.g. providing a diagram to some reasonable scale, and basic labelling to avoid questions/head scratching from investors.
A few questions I have encountered are listed below, hoping better informed readers can provide corrections, confirmations.
- This is the cross section at FDV (drive down from the ramp portal going south)
- The 5m x 5m (approx, could be 5 x6 or 6x5) white box is the x-section of ramp tunnel, and the FDV (brown blob) is just off a few m to the right (anyone knows why this blob has 2 shades, one is light brown, the other one is dark brown. Does the dark brown indicate rock which has not beenremoved to protec the ramp tunnel (the roof and the right wall,...why the left wall is bright red?) .
- The light brown on the far right is the 4m x 4m x 4m living room FDV (on level 15). They have blasted this volume out to get about 30,000 oz of Au. Did they extend this area out beyond this original living room. If so, how much more have advanced? (sideway, and up along the 25m toward level 14?
- Moving up the redish brown blob seems to be broken just above hole AZ15-016A which has the max grade 15.2gpt over 0.64m. This last intercept is at the edge if the sediment (blue). Question: what happened to hole AZ15-016?
- 7m below the FDV is the hole with a bonanza grades with 764gpt-m and 703 gpt-m (see results in NR/table). 7m is the correct in dication, but the width if the sediment is not to scale. It should be thicker if you add the Au-bearing intercepts in the Table together (~9m). Also, I am not sure if the location of AZ15-013 is placed correctly. It is located at the edge of the sediment strip (which has been pushed upward (and stretched) by the lava which contained gold bearing thermo-fluid. Also that orange dot is located underneath (at the edge of) the ramp. It would be easier to dig if it's located toward the right, i.e. underneath the FDV living room. Who would want to explode dynamite under a roadway with big/heavy trucks running around?
- Presumably, they can do some exploration digging (or drilling) from the living room floor to take a peek at the geology (drillers would know the moment they retrieve the cores...geos could also have some hand-held device to have a rough estimate of the gold content) around hole AZ15-013. May be they have already done it and showed to Mark when he was there.
I can only speculate, but a much better picture could be presented if more accurate information is provided.
However, 7m away from some accessible loaction, like the floor of the FDV living room, should not present an unsurmountable challenge. It would take no more than 1 day to drill several short holes toward that zone. They can even tunnel (without using dynamite?) quite a few m in a day.
Comments anyone?
