Guyana Gold Mining Industry News Good Gold Assays Coming from Guyana Goldstrike's
Neighbor Goldsource
Stock doubles up with volume on news.
GYA's Mazoa Hill assayed 6.5m 14.85 g/t incl 1.5m 51.7 g/t gold in 2012.
This is good for GYA, as they will be drilling Marudi in 2019. __________________________________________________________________________
GOLDSOURCE ANNOUNCES SALBORA HIGH-GRADE DISCOVERY; 69 METRES (40 METRES EST. TRUE WIDTH) GRADING 6.52 G/T AU
Goldsource Mines Inc. has confirmed a new high-grade discovery from the first two diamond core hole results, based on the continuing exploration program at the Salbora target on the Eagle Mountain gold project in Guyana. Salbora is located approximately 1.5 kilometres northwest of Eagle Mountain.
The company's first two diamond core holes include EMD18-053, with 40 metres (estimated true width) grading 6.52 grams per tonne gold, and EMD18-052, with 17 metres (estimated true width) grading 2.82 grams per tonne gold. The results from these near-surface diamond core holes show high-grade gold mineralization below a previously announced surface trench, TRBS18-002, which returned 123 metres (horizontal width) grading 1.92 grams per tonne gold (please see news release dated May 24, 2018). The estimated mineralized footprint at surface, determined by initial work to date, is 500 metres long and 50 metres to 100 metres wide. The depth from surface is unknown and it is open in all directions. Stepout diamond core drilling is planned at Salbora in the first half of 2019 to help further define this high-grade discovery.
