Steady gains or a bit more sideways consolidation and build momentum for a big break up. Still making deals on assets that are years old, paying off big, and still have room to grow.
California as a whole has been lagging in its rollout but the thing to takeaway is Origin House is the prime beneficiary of the state regulations. The founder of RVR has alcohol connections so he and others used their influence to go after a distribution based model.
This is the insiders cannabis company in California and I don't think many people realize it. In a wild market it has been thrown around, yes. But for the last few years it has just pushed higher. The foundations are built so 2019 and 2020 is the time to prove if the business model works.
You can bet the feds will certainly look at California when making the rules for the whole country. By that time OH will be a monster. Tremendous value in the data collected on consumers in that huge market. The knowledge they will have on how to market and place these products will be unmatched.
USA is pure capitalism and the ability to create emotion around a prodcut is priceless. Canada dropped the ball so hard on the marketing end. 200+ SKUs under OH control, I'm hoping just one reaches even ten percent the awareness Coke has.
