Hindered and held back.
Hindered and held back. Politics have completely hindered the provincial retail rollout in Ontario. The Ford government definitly has people wondering why it's being rolled out this way. U.S. states have successfully created retail recreational markets through trial and error and their is no reason why Ontario should not be able to create a solid, safe recreational environmet for the public.
Canadian Marijuana Retail stocks will be under-perform the market and the marijuana sector over the next year.
Cannabis shortage
-Health Canada Licensing is lengthy and timely
-Un-organized provincial distribution systems in place
-Demand is increasing quickly with demand for edibles and CBD/THC derived products
The Canadina Retailers have become less attractive for capital investment because it's clear that future revenues are going to be effected by the provincial governments who are in complete control of the Canadian retail market.
The Scheer stupidity of the Conservatives and their provincial leader Ford are clearly ensuring the rollout is a failure. Whether it be political or their financial interest int he black market, this is going to hurt all the Canadian marijuana retailers.
If the conservatives want to legalize marijuana again in the future, and don't think that this isn't a reality, it's better for them now to hinder and hold back the expansion of the recreational market. They had no issue letting the LP market explode, they just produce it. The process of getting legal pot into the hands of consumers is a government business....whats the ticker for that company. "CROOK?"
