RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Resistance Point I finally settled on Scotia about 30 years ago. Mostly because the company I worked for used them as the financial facility to deposit my wages.
My brother in law, recently passed away. He did all of his trading through TD, inside of his registered accounts. Towards the end he tried day trading within his TFSA and ended up with penalty charges against the registered account.
It's to bad. His mind wasn't working because of Chemo and Radiation. He certainly shouldn't have been trading but his wife was to distraught and uninformed to realize what he had been doing. Luckily TD was also concerned and stopped all further trading because of the unusual activity.
Not a big deal. As long as I don't do an excessive amount of trades, they don't get to concerned.
