RE:RE:RE:This deposit is an enormously profitable pigFive more years of environmental studies? Just what do you think has gone on for the last 18 years? After they get the draft EIS they are a year away from the record of decison. 

The project is not in the Artic, it is on the coast  and the climate is moderated by the ocean. You could not find a better place to build a mine .

The economics of the mine have not deterred three major companies from jointly dropping nearly $500 million on the project,  Perhaps there is a trifle more to the story than you understand. 

Once the Army Corp has ruled, which is only a month from now, we will see what the real interest is in the largest copper/gold project in the world. In the meantime, the economic discussion is irrelevent.
