Greece expansion:(From Yahoo Tgod Board by Jack) Invests 74 million. in Greece, the Canadian company hemp TGOD The plans for cultivation of pharmaceutical cannabis in an area of 120 acres in the area of Thebes, with the construction of a large-scale Unit for the Production and Processing of Cannabis, discussed the TGOD Hellas, in a meeting Marcos Anastassiadis, ceo of the company, on Thursday 24 January 2019, with the deputy minister of Rural Development and Food, Vassilis Kokkalis. This is the company TGOD Hellas, a subsidiary of the Canadian company TGOD Inc., which implements in Greece the largest investment, of production and processing of pharmaceutical cannabis of eur 74 million. The crop is expected to start in early 2020 and will create hundreds of direct and indirect jobs for the Greek economy. The TGOD intends to proceed also in partnerships with Greek Universities for the funding of scientific research, with the aim to make Greece a World Centre of Innovation for medicines based on cannabinoids. It is noted that the facilities of the TGOD in Greece will be built in accordance with the standards of GACP and eGMP with the Canadian and international facilities of the Company and will adhere to the same protocols of organic cultivation. Mr. Kokkalis pointed out the large investment interest, while he assured that these efforts, contribute to the development of the sector in Greece and have the all-round support, as well as the executives of the ministry.
