Aphria Inc. APHA

Aphria, which is headquartered in Ontario, produces and sells medicinal and recreational cannabis. The company operates through retail and wholesale channels in Canada and internationally. Aphria is a main distributor of medical cannabis to Germany and has operations in over 10 countries outside of Canada. However, it does not have exposure to the U.S. CBD or THC markets due to the constraints of federal prohibition. It has some U.S. exposure through the acquisition of SweetWater, a craft brewer

RE:RE:The double edged sword named Jakob!

RE:RE:The double edged sword named Jakob! Jakob shouldnt leave. The damage him leaving is more than him be a ceo and being involve in LATAM. Because Latam is a story of the past and Jakob involvment was not related to the terms of contracts. They need to hire a person to be in media as president the same 40Baggs said

Here's the problem though!

He is a being considered for the role of CEO, AND deservedly so, but the problem is that he was around when the LATAM deal was struck by Vic!
Although Jakob is innocent, the optics of his promotion to the role of CEO may be viewed by the street, future equity and JV partners etc unfavorably and this is what Irwin Simon is worried about.

The other edge of the sword is that Jakob is a dynamic positive for Aphria especially with his global opposed to country bumkin mentality and experience!

You really need to read his resume below. Please look at the various roles of responsibilty he has had in his career.
It's very impressive! Vic is f()cking joke compared to the global experience Jakob has.
I can't believe that Jakob repoted to that fat arrogant p o s ! It's a joke.

So here's the rub. If Jakob doesn't get the promotion I've heard from several sources that he may leave Aphria. That is problematic for me and I may actually consider lightening up on my position as Tom may follow suit!

A final note! And I hope Bobby or someone else in Vic's family is reading this!

Neufeld's. I hear that you are all under alot of stress and have been for some time!
That is nothing compared to the financial tsunami that Vic hit many innocent families with by trying to f()ck with Altria for more money when a deal was already agreed to!
Such needless financial suffering that I still can't grasp except that Vic's lust for power (Altria was going to remove him. They knew he was incompetent and way over his fat head. They wanted board seats as part of the deal and rightfully so with that amount of capital invested.) superceeded his fiduciary duty to the shareholders and Aphria itself. Yes, he chose to try to retain his CEO role, at any cost, including at the expense of the deal, the well being of the company and the shareholders and almost buried Aphria in the process.
I trust that karma will deal with Vic and I couldn't be happier about whatever he gets in the future!

For one, he is the business pariah and joke of the century in Canada!
I know many brokers, bankers, captains of industry, retails shareholders, that have disdain for him and thankfully that legacy will haunt him forever!
