RE:RE:31floor meeting

RE:RE:31floor meetingThank you very much for the update 31. The one question that I have always had regarding Montalva is why PREPA has opposed it for so long. From what I understand there is political corruption at the highest levels, but what is the opposition to having a fully funded company come in and provide much needed power to the country? The only thing I can think of is that they signed a contract and are on the hook for paying what they think is too high a price per Kwh (but Siemens contradicts this). Or, they signed a contract with our company, and then realized that another company was willing to grease their pockets in order to get a similar contract. Why wouldn't they have agreed to fulfill a contract they signed and especially with a $2 billion litigation against them? What does PREPA see as the downside of fulfilling this obligation??? Any insights appreciated, Hubbie
