Q4 2018 Production Report - things to watchQ4 2018 production report should be out very soon - either tomorrow or early next week. Things to watch for the production report: 1. Phase 2 of whole ore leach (WOL) was commissioned in Q4 2018 and ramp-up to achieve the full capacity of the WOL plant by end of Q1 2019 (only two months away). 2. Acid plant to be commissioned in Q4 2019 and first acid out in Q1 2020. 3. Cobalt export temporarily suspended following out of specs uranium content in cobalt hydroxide. Proposing installation of Ion Exchange plant by the end of June this year as long term solution. Planning to work with Gecamines to find alternative interim solutions. The cobalt export is the key. With copper price is moving higher, Katanga Mining will immediatelly show good earnings if KAT starts to export cobalt product.
