Aphria Inc. APHA

Aphria, which is headquartered in Ontario, produces and sells medicinal and recreational cannabis. The company operates through retail and wholesale channels in Canada and internationally. Aphria is a main distributor of medical cannabis to Germany and has operations in over 10 countries outside of Canada. However, it does not have exposure to the U.S. CBD or THC markets due to the constraints of federal prohibition. It has some U.S. exposure through the acquisition of SweetWater, a craft brewer

RE:Question from a newbie

RE:Question from a newbieDivide Tilray by 4 for USD then use the exchange rate for CDN = $26-27. Aphria is probably worth $25CDN so that is a reasonable offer. See all those new hires at Tilray? Those are some heavy hitters in Consumer Goods.... I'd probably hold the Tilray shares if that is the deal. Investors seem to like their team - they just need more near term production. Aphria has amazing facilities but no one likes their team. Might fit.
