Correct me if i'm wrong but
Correct me if i'm wrong butI remember, and I do have to strain my memory, that RSC was one of the most promising uranium explorers in Quebec. They had some promising exploration results. The Quebec government supplied incentives and grants to the company. RSC operations supported the local economy, hired workers including aboriginals. RSC applied for and was granted permits along the way toward a goal of mining and production. The company gained attention and people put their hard earned money into a canadian company as shareholders. Quebec at least at that time, and I'm talking about 2012 to 2015 was thought to be mining friendly province. The Quebec government took the credit publicly for supporting junior companies like RSC, gave the impression that there would be no road blocks for RSC if they obtained all the permits and legal requirements. Then in 2015 things fell apart. Even after consultations with the aboriginals, environmental studies, I dont believe the RSC land was on the aboriginals property, only neighboured it. The last and necessary permit was not appoved. Was this akin to leading the horse to water, as the horse was about to drink, the plug was pulled from the bottom of the trough and the water drained out? So we sit and wait to find out if we will be granted some compensation at this next trial. Did the Quebec government mislead the company and shareholders? If this company was mining in Quebec right now, may have there been many beneficial factors for the economy? IMHO. Guy give us some kind of insight if you would.
