RE:RE:RE:BNN interview was very interesting ...the more I hear Tony Zijin and China.
Or the "new" Newmont. I always said earlier that NEM would go for KL, but they went for GG.
Or the "new" Barrick would have the fire-power after taking on GOLD, but I read they want to first focus on integrating the GOLD properties. Would be simple share issuance and maybe 20 % cash.
I doubt KL will be acquired by either party however due to these parties' respective acquistons of GG and GOLD respectively.
For now, KL will remain independent or they will be taken out by a LARGE multinational miner (not necessarily gold co.), as correctly mentioned, that absorbs KL to
diversify into the gold space. When Andy Bell brought this up, you could clearly tell Tony was not closed at all to the idea and wanted to know KL's assets warrant the proper valuation.
Also, this was by far Tony's best public appearance ever and delivery of a speech. The confidence is so apparent. He is giving off signals day and night as to what is coming in two weeks.
I think I will buy more - never too late on a growth stock - as I should have done on November 30th at $ 20 USD the day shares bottomed at $ 20 USD after the Fosterville production update. Failed to pull trigger then. Have not sold anything and near-term target of $ 50.00 CAD totally do-able.
Maybe they already change their 2019 production guidance in this earnings report, and up the dividend? Dividend can easily go up two pennies.
+ with the Reserve Report, this can pop to $ 55.00 CAD on mega volume. If they get close to $ 47.00 CAD in the next couple of weeks BEFORE the two press releases.

JIN

I was reading somewhere that it may not necessarily be another mining company to invest in a gold miner like KL....this article stated that banks, governments, non-mining corporations and even some governments are seeing the wisdom of owning a profitable mining company ...their thinking is that gold is a bargain and a wise long term investment...a few names were mentioned but I forget who now....I hope KL does not get such interest as it has a long ways to go and much higher share prices in its future ...all to benefit the shareholder...jmho dyodd
