The sources of Inventys' funding say more than the technology right now.  The deal the oil companies want is that the tech stays private and the publicity stays away from CCS. OGCI is happy to fund anything which will kill another decade, no point in starting to deal with a problem using only 1st generation technology when 2nd generation will be so much cheaper, in fact why not wait for 3G? The bigger the capital cost now the more reasons we have to wait, Inventys is the perfect invention of delay.
