Ivanhoe Mines Ltd. is a Canada-based mining, development, and exploration company. The Company is focused on the mining, development and exploration of minerals and precious metals from its property interests located primarily in Africa. Its projects include The Kamoa-Kakula Copper Complex, The Kipushi Project, The Platreef Project., and The Western Foreland Exploration Project. The Kamoa-Kakula Copper Complex project stratiform copper deposit with adjacent prospective exploration areas within the Central African Copperbelt, approximately 25 kilometers (km) west of the town of Kolwezi and about 270 km west of the provincial capital of Lubumbashi. The Kipushi mine is adjacent to the town of Kipushi in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) approximately 30 km southwest of the provincial capital of Lubumbashi. The 21 licenses in the Western Foreland cover a combined area of 1,808 square kilometers to the north, south and west of the Kamoa-Kakula Copper Complex.

RE:Platreef One extra note. palladium and platinum occur in equal amounts at Platreef. Price assumptions in the economic analysis are $1250 Pt and $825 Pd, the exact reverse of real life! So, I just combine one oz each of Pt + Pd to check the price assumption = $2,075. The current price is $800 Pt + $1400 Pd = $2,200. So, they’re slightly ahead of the game. Nickel is faring poorly, but rhodium is out the roof. Gold and copper are close to given price assumptions. What you don’t want to see is metal price assumptions that are overly optimistic. That’s not at all the case for Platreef.

See section 22.2 page 565 of the Sept 2017 Feasibility for a complete list of price assumptions followed by economic analysis. Tabulated resource page 13; reserves page 17. Note price assumptions below these tables vary from the economic analysis. The economic analysis are the only assumptions relevant to investors.
