RE:RE:RE:RE:Irwin's. Worst interview5* post Sir! Irwin is a major asset to Aphria. As is Jakob. Onward and Upward!

Without question it was a train wreck for all the reasons that posters mentioned. Irwin Simon needs to do a lot more due diligence with respect to ALL aspects of Aphria while representing in any type of interview! I am a big believer in constructive criticism.
However, to talk about the imminent demise of Aphria was waaaay over the top. We as longs have endured the short attack, and unfortunately some investors by virtue of their own investing methodology tapped out with significant losses. Clearly, some have re-entered hoping to make back some of their losses, or all of their losses. That was a very dark time in the Aphria story!
I also understand how some investors who have weathered this storm have frayed nerves, lost patience, and as a result of this, it has lead to quick trigger fingers on the keyboard to criticize Aphria management for everything.
To be certain, the PR department have been abysmal. Investor Relation's consistant rubber stamped responses to ALL of us LONGS has been very frustrating as well. But the one consistant that each LONG should know is the potential that Aphria has to offer...
To be the low cost producer of "High Grade" medical and recreational marijuana in ALL forms!! Including: oils, infused beverages, vape pens, strips, capsules, lozenges, cream, edibles, etc...
Irwin Simon was brought in for some very specific reasons:
Governance
Better Transparency
Culture Change To Aphria Executive Management
Credibility
Connections to "Big" money, ie: Institutional Investors
Closing A Deal Of Some Kind With A Multinational Corporation
It needs to be acknowledged that Irwin Simon has done much better interviews on CNBC. It would also be negligent to dismiss the fact that he has done business with "Carl Icahn" who happens to be a Great White Shark amongst other high profile investors. He is worth in excess of $17 billion dollars. He does not do business with anybody!!
I would offer up this opinion: Irwin Simon has been employed to turn this debacle surrounding Aphria around. He was thrust into this business with very little preperation. His learning curve has been extremely steep. I do not believe that the recent interview with BNN depicts Irwin Simon accurately. I suggest we give him a "fair" amount time to right this ship? Our Potential Is Huge!!! $$$$$$$ JMHO
Long and Strong on Aphria!!
