RE:Tinley's Third Cocktail, In Canada Only - PlainI get where you are coming from in regards to the concerns that Canada is conjuring in regards to associating infused beverages with existing alcohol bevvies. Government lackeys, afraid of making a mistake, to protect us from ourselves.
Canada's guidelines are being proposed such that there is no appeal to the little kids. The existing alcohol coolers and ciders should have to change too, or we could just rely on adults to be concerned parents and warn their kids about these products like they do with alcohol and if they aren't of age to understand then make pot products unavailable, out of reach, just like they should with their prescriptions.
It will never be perfect, just like it isn't perfect now with alcohol, but being able to snazzy up your product shouldn't only apply to marijuana. Over consumption of marijuana products doesn't result in death to the degree that alcohol poisoning or anti-depressant over-indulgence or oxy.
Government legislators are only seeing downside to marijuana and not the upside to convert alcoholics over to a less problematic vice, or an alternative to heavy opiates for pain.
The knowledgable consumer to marijuana and hemp products understands that they are safer and that they should be able to get them in a form that is more suitable than smoking and a nice package, just like the alcohol companies have. glta and dyodd
