I read it as follow: Whoever holds units at the closing date in Q2 ( Could be April fool’s day or June 30 ) will get $7.779 CAD/unit. I believe May 31 ex div date and pay date June 15 are out the door . ( You don’t have to own units May 31 to get the .209 as the closing date might be before that.) So the complete deal for whoever holds units at the closing date is $7.57 + $ .209 = $7.779 CAD. The news release about the sale of Crius does not indicate any restrictions of who will get the $.209 on top of the $7.57. It just indicates a total consideration of $7.779 at closing for whoever holds units at that point.
