PRDoesn't give us any new facts but does reiterate that US launch will take place in Q1.
Trials by possible customers is positive, maybe giving Siyata a chance at a running start. One of my big worries is that big companies don't usually move that fast. If I were CEO, would I tell my operating people to dump 5 separate devices in the driver's cab, eat some past capex and contract fees and leap to a new device? Maybe, if I was convinced it was truly superior.
The testing will help decision makers get comfortable with that decision. Everyone's personal experience with their own cell phones should help. I can hardly remember what I did with my flip phone versus my 4G device. I know it was a huge leap forward and allows me to not bother to lug my laptop around airports for short trips anymore. Why bother when my smartphone does just about everything except provide a decent sized view of the info.
Let's hope the next few weeks are full of real factual sales announcements.
