Vitalhub and EHR/EMRLet me first congratulate the company on their achievements to date. Numerous healthcare and addiction treatment facilities and contracts with the government of Nova Scotia and the Yukon. No small feat. Vitalhub is competing against (and winning) versus some very large EHR/EMR companies. But where do we go next? I believe Europe and the UK are key. "Europe has one of the most dynamic and competitive EMR markets in the world with active tenders in nearly every region". The US is too saturated with EHR/EMR companies in my opinion - at last count, there are 300+ companies operating south of the border. Money not well spent in the US market. In the UK, there are only a handful of EMR companies, but Egton Medical Information Systems (EMIS) garners just over 50 % of the market. In the UK, Intersystems, Epic and Cerner are trying to grab market share. In Canada, Cerner and Epic are making their presence felt. Cerner is at North York General, the hospital using what it calls their "Ecare" system. At this point, VitalHub is a niche market player. But with some savvy partnerships or acquisitions, maybe we can become more. As a partner, perhaps VitalHub could look at Chipsoft (a Dutch company). Chipsoft does business with 70 % of the Dutch Hospitals, their lead product "HIX" is a multi pronged EHR software, but does also deal with mental health. Perhaps some synergies with VHI. I also like Cambio, a slightly smaller company than Chipsoft, with presence in Sweden, Denmark and the UK (1 - hospital). Cambio's software is called "Cosmic". Maybe some opportunity to grow Cambio's business in the UK. I like Cambio's philosophy - "One patient, one medical record, to last a lifetime". These are just two examples, my point here, is that the company does have some cash and if they are shopping, looking for partners or acquisitions, hopefully it is in the UK or Europe. I also still believe, that we need to continue to grow our business in Ontario. The ultimate crown jewel would be a Province of Ontario contract for mental health illness electronic health records management. Ultimately, I see the company growing their business and someone like a Cerner or Epic will sit up and take notice and there will be a buyout offer. My opinions only. Please do your own due diligence. Best of luck to the VHI longs./ok2
