RE:Share Price I agree that patience is needed. But I can also see why some shareholders might have had enough by this point.
The licensing delays, even if they may be well outside of RQB's and Mr. Robinson's control, have been frustrating.
It doesn't help that we were told things like:
-
April 2018: "Expecting license to sell mid-2018, right in time for adult recreational legalization across Canada!"
-
July 2018: "August 2018 we anticipate LP in Edmonton and license to sell and dispense in Markham."
-
September 2018: "We’ve checked all the boxes and are now awaiting final approval from Health Canada for a license to cultivate in Edmonton."
-
November 2018: "Our dialogue with Health Canada has been very positive, our file is in active review and we are optimistic about the prospect of receiving our license near term."
-
Early January 2018: "I’m hoping that you can come out January and I think by that time we’ll have the license in place, ..."
-
Late January 2018: Mr. Robinson described the Edmonton cultivation license as being "very close" and "imminent".
It's now mid-February, and we're still waiting for the full Markham sales license and the Edmonton cultivation license.
I'd like to see another corporate update sometime soon, like the September 2018 one, with stuff like:
- photos of the current progress at Port Mellon and Fort McMurray
- the status of the Edmonton retail store
- the status of Elephant Extracts, 1 Life, and Alexander First Nation efforts
- the status of the Bloomera and Lore brands
- the status of the discussions with the Alberta, Ontario, and Quebec provincial wholesalers
Enough of these initiatives are announced, but then we don't hear much/anything about them for many months, if not longer.
Maybe hearing about some forward progress on those fronts would help improve the current sentiment.
