RE:Days away from start-up at St-Felicien
RE:Days away from start-up at St-FelicienThank you for sharing. They unfortunately placed focus on CST making money and missed saying that that RFP also proits from this (win-win). Emitters won't care about CST's profits they way that shareholders will. They'll want to know what's in it for them and why they should care that Canada has a good CCUS option for small emitters. And because Carbon Capture is somehat of a dirty word for the general public at the moment, if it were me, I would have been careful not to mention the whole "CST profiting" thing (all of us investors already get that) and instead would have focused on the positive environmental aspects. But I'll stop grumbling. This is great that they have at least posted an update. It's progress, and it seems that in spite of a delay of a few months, things are still moving in the right direction. They can always fix their marketing messaging in future updates.

Canada’s second commercial CO capture unit is days away from start-up. Located at the Resolute Forest Product’s pulp mill in Saint Felicien, Quebec, it will provide CO to the adjacent Serres Toundra greenhouse and generate the first recurring revenues for CO Solutions! The future is NOW!
