CCI represents the majority of existing LPs and hundreds of applicants.
Shoppers DM wants all LPs that they do business with to be able to verify their product offerings -- far beyond what they are currently doing. Batch testing under current regs is fundamentally flawed and susceptible to manipulation (as we have seen and will continue to see). Standardized batch testing is necessary to legitimize cannabis as medicine. Blockstrain is only solution on the market right now that can adequately address the transparency issues for testing and verification. The biggest LPs will likely be the last to follow because frankly, they benefit from the current system the most. However, once consumers start to demand transparent validation, they will have no choice but to adopt.
To claim something as medicine.. you need batch verification like aspirin or advil or chemo.. whatever it is.. insurance co's all of that doesn't change..
Good thing the software is free and the revenue is generated as part of the laboratory fees. LP's can get on board expadiciously
Instead of this phantom customer demand.. there are already plenty of news stories of people sufferring.. this is about the government and if it chooses to be serious about regulating this industry
If Health Canada 'Mandates' the genetic batch testing as part of an updated provision in policy, every LP big or small will be auto-opt-in for medical marijuana in Canada.
