RE:RE:Barrick's Bristow: "But we can handle..."
Give them time and they will sort things out..... PVG has what is needed to be the envy of the gold mining industry -- all in due course I believe.
However, I am stunned to see that people here would like to have an entity such as Barrick to come and swallow Pretium. I could be mistaken, but from reading, this gold entity (Barrick) doesn't even explore for gold; it is in the business of just buys other people's original exploration work and sweat -- sometimes via hostile schemes yet others by waving its swell pockets around.
I would argue thati it is possible to generate money/wealth by investing in ethically oriented companies. It could be, but can this be said for Barrick in this case? They even attempted to stifle "freedom of the press" (sort off) and they succeeded somewhat. I am referring to the affair involving a publisher and its writers about a book titled: "Noir Canada". And of course, not to say anything about what its security man engaged in to instill fear and to couse extreme and lasting unguish. In this instance, the security personel were gung raping a number of extremely vulnerable females, likely for protesting mine contamination. There are also three rivers involved in Barrick's basket of goodies. Again from reading (public knowledge), all three of these appalling cases were resolved by tossing some (tini amounts in my view) dollars around and in the writers case only because the Court ordered.
This is all to say that I must sell all of my PVG shares in a scenario were the Pretium enterprise is handed over to Barrick.
