Stacker thoughts

Stacker thoughtsThere is some amount of counterfeit coins and bars around from China and other places. I tend to buy only new mint products so my risk is lowered. Those seeking the best deals may face higher risks. There are several low cost tests that can be done including some sound based apps for cellphones. For anyone with a larger stack a non invasive electronic free standing tester might make sense. A Sigma Metalics, PM verifier runs about 800USD can scan through plastic cases and metallic plating and deep into the metal with electromagnetic waves and produces one second results. To those with the interest and budget it might make sense. Not only do you know your stack is real but in a SHTF situation where you might actually pass the stuff the receiver will probably be high on suspicion and low on knowledge. Verification provision would so aid in transactions and reduce scrutiny. XRF is also an option but that gets pricey. Just some thoughts as I am sure there are some stackers on this board both larger and smaller. If we get news this week I hope it is decisive. Some news is just enough to keep the ball rolling. News that puts us over the tipping point would be best. A series of significant very high grade core would probably be a good start. Oh well, back to waiting, productive waiting, not passive waiting.
