From Arianne's board, “Mr. Fontaine’s appointment has come at a very significant time for Arianne,” said Dominique Bouchard, Arianne Phosphate’s Executive Chairman. “Mr. Fontaine has a proven record of growing business through innovation, entrepreneurship and global market penetration. These skills will be a strong addition to the Board and overall direction of Arianne.”
The importance of M. Fontaine coming on board is a very important step for Arianne. He brings not just an entrepreneurial spirit to the company, he has the track record of a highly successful businessman in that he has build a multi-national company with a history of making money. His methodology is proven and his skills will solved the criticism that Arianne has not been sufficiently promoted. But "promoted" is a word which does not do justice to the abilities of M. Fontaine. Rateher, his grasp and understanding of what it takes to make a venture successful is beyond dispute.
Arianne is a unique company in that it has done everything right to bring it to the very doorstep of recognition and uncommon success. The business plan has been executed beautifully. Its product is of premium quality and its deposit is huge, necessary infrastructure is almost fully in place, only lacking the completion of the port facility on the north shore of the Saguenay River for shipmrnt of the phosphate rock to world markets, the people are hard-working and the relationship between the company and the provincial government and First Nations interests are all optimized, so that it is a win-win for everybody . Its management is honest and hard-working.
But, still, were it a jigsaw puzzle, there would be a missing piece: recognition leading to attraction of buyers of its product, a top quality one in a safe jurisdiction with all the elements required to procduce and transport the product which to the world.
With the arrival of M. Fontaine, that missing piece has materialized.
The share price to come will astound even the most hardened skeptics.
