RE:Four new spodumene mines went into production last year...Spodumene mines are totally different than upgraded Battery Quality lithium.

If anyone is talking about NMX becoming just a spodumene mine, go look at what happened to the CATL plant that is already producing in QC - it has been idled next door to our project. They idled because the conversion capacity isn't there and it's uneconomic at current market prices to ship the product for conversion across the ocean. Mark my words, NMX is dead in the water as a spod. mine, Australia has everyone beat on project economics for shipping raw spod conc.

Supply response of Spodumene can be dramatic like the article stated.. but the battery quality lithium carbonate/monohydrate upgrading has been significantly less responsive.

When Spod Prices fall, conversion plants like NMX get to win on the spread, just like in Oil & Gas. It is net positive for this project long-term economics.

Be careful with the apples to oranges comparisons being made by many unknowledgable writers in this space.
