RE:RE:RE:RE:Lack of Reaction to all the great newsYes, but why would we want the stock price to drop, rollback or no rollback? If the shares drop after the rollback, earnings per share will not change other than by the multiple. That is $.05 EPS will simply become $5 per share. What will change if the shares are rolled back and the share price drops is simply the earnings multiple which will increase. That is not how you want the multiple to increase!!
As I have said in the past, a small float, number of shares isssued and outstanding, may be a deterrent for investors looking to add to their position and new investors coming in for the first time.
With all the encouraging news management has been releasing, I think the best action would be to promote the story, increase liquidity and hopefully the stock price, do equity raises if necessary at higher rather than lower prices, and everyone will be happy. Try to do equity raises witha company with a very small float may prove to be very difficult.
Unless the company is proposing this rollback because there is some sort of corporate reorganization in the works, merger, strategic investor coming in, joint venture, I think the rollback, if completed, will prove to be quite detrimental to shareholders.
I think if management were to poll 100 investors and investment advisors regarding the rollback, the response would be overwhelmingly negative.
