ANLA

ANLAThe process of Environmental Licensing of the Soto Norte project continues
February 25, 2019
minesa

After the filing made on January 17, 2019, the National Authority of Environmental Licenses ANLA continues to carry out the regular stages of a filing process, as is the preliminary verification of VPD documentation, which is given prior to the start-up car, which is the preliminary step to start the evaluation of the study. Last Wednesday, February 20, at the VPD meeting, the ANLA notified us that it was necessary to adjust elements of the documentation presented, basically adjustments to the cartographic database in 23 of the 112 fields contained in the GDB geo data base of the project.

The documentation was adjusted and re-filed so that the procedure is continued as established by the procedure. The steps so far included are part of the normal development of the licensing process and demonstrate the rigor of the authority in this type of process. The National Authority of Environmental Licenses is the institution that can officially inform how the due process of reception and subsequent evaluation is being carried out in the terms established for any environmental license requested.

We are committed to a mining with sense for
Soto Norte, Santander and Colombia.
