RE:The unusual occurred. The S&P 500 has returned more than PAT I guess you do not realize markets go up and down even in a up trend. The market breathes so trying to cherry pick three months is useless.
The S&P price was at 2164 on November 11/ 2016 the IPO date of PAT. PAT was trading at .80 cents on Nov 10 / 2016. PAt has increased it share price by 275 % from the day it started trading.
The S&P has increased to 2796 an increase of only 29% Therefore we can conclude that PAT has actually out performed the S&P by 246% more than the S&P has since the IPO date.
So clearly what ever PAT has lagged the S%P for the last few months mean little considering in two years PAT has given early shareholders 18 years of growth compared to the 15 % a year the S&P has given up.
Ill take 3 slow months for 18 years of S&P gains any year.

Typically it's the other way around. Mid caps, Large caps, and growth stocks in the US, Canada have outperformed and also generated bettern returns. For example, Bloom Energy is up over 40% since February 12, 2019.
