RE:RE:RE:upcomming Annual General and Special MeetingIt's 16.9m short in the US now, not 19. 12% of shorted shares were covered in recent period.!! I think that is what helped lift the shares back above 8 us$. Maybe losing money exiting that high, but finally being sensible. What people do with their own accounts might not make much difference, as many institutions intentionally lend out their shares for shorting. That way they collect say 5+% interest on the loan, so earn from shares not paying a dividend. They are in for the long term, so maybe don't care how many shorts there may be.  Also putting ones own shares for sale at a high price does not make a difference. The brokerage looks at how many shares they are holding in all margin accounts, and has their own ratios worked out, anyones orders are disregarded.
