RE:RE:Re: RlefebvreOh, and another reason I didn't try to bring to market a gas powered helicopter, is because their huge advantage in range and speed just can't be fully excercised until BVLOS flights are possible. There are still operational advantages in short range of course, but you can't fully exploit 1+ hour flight time until you can fly beyond sight. And I don't see regulations changing to allow that for several years more. Transport Canada and the FAA are both extremely slow to permit it. They have allowed some limited trials of course. But I'm talking regular full-scale commercial operations. It's a long-way off yet.
