Aphria Inc. APHA

Aphria, which is headquartered in Ontario, produces and sells medicinal and recreational cannabis. The company operates through retail and wholesale channels in Canada and internationally. Aphria is a main distributor of medical cannabis to Germany and has operations in over 10 countries outside of Canada. However, it does not have exposure to the U.S. CBD or THC markets due to the constraints of federal prohibition. It has some U.S. exposure through the acquisition of SweetWater, a craft brewer

RE:RE:RE:Time to Short the likes of Aphria....Actually, the number that smoke might even decline when more sanitary delivery methods are approved. In the event you haven’t heard these products haven’t even started and a huge part of the population are still waiting.  Do you think Martha Stewart joined Canopy to roll joints and Aphria bought 13,000 pharmacy outlets in Germany to distribute bongs?

Facts are facts period.  And it's due to distrubution screwups?  Maybe a little but another fact is that the demand was NOT overwhelming - there was NO tidal wave of new demand which everyone predicted. The same number or people that smoked last year are the same number that smoked this year (also Statscan). Turns out baby boomers didn't run to the pot store as predicted. And you want to sell overseas?  Sure no problem as long as you let me sell into your country.  We'll get killed with cheaper/better imports from south america and the states.
