The Vote

The VoteHello folks! I'm an Emblem shareholder and have been for about a year now. I'm hoping someone can help me out here. I just finished watching an interview with the CEO of Alefia re: their Port Perry facility and their plans for an outdoor grow at that site. He states that this site is 60 acres and is capable of producing 60,000 kilos of product per season yet when I'm looking at their website the state they have 30 acres capable of producing 60,000 kilos of product. So what is it 30 or 60 acres?? So what is very confusing is how someone can predict 60,000 kgs growing outside 100 ish kms n.e. of Toronto. Growing outside is very risky at the best of times you have a very short growing season to start with then bugs, bacteria, fungus which you can't spray for because you're not allowed to use pesticides, fungicides etc. growing medical or recreational cannabis. Now we all know how unpredictable the weather is during the spring summer and fall months. Heavy wind, rain and hail are all serious factors that can compromise the yields greatly not to mention humidity which can cause mold during the critical flowering period. Then to risk it going to seed should there be pollen from another source in the vicinity. Now to state the volumes predicted and include them in your estimation of yearly volumes is out to lunch!!' It's bad business to try and deceive shareholders that don't understand the factors the come into play with such a roll the dice endeavour. This struck a nerve as you can tell. Perhaps someone can enlighten me cuz something smells here and it isn't weed.
