I think I was only a nickel off the low for the session. It wasn't until about 9pm when the press release came thru my inbox that I felt a little better. I was actually shocked it dropped as much as it did today. I was only expecting 50 cents, or a buck at most. Tempting to jump back in now, but also tempting are the banks stocks, a few of which go ex dividend this month.
I was eyeing the Canadian banks, but instead bought FIE.to (the ETF). I'm also thinking that with loan growth coming off, they may lose some of their lustre in 2019. I'm in Toronto, and I can tell you anecdotally, all the young families I know are stretched really thin just to cover housing costs. I'm going to layer in the position, just in case.
