Heritage Cannabis notes manufacturing certification EXTRACTION SYSTEMS RECEIVE MANUFACTURING CERTIFICATION
Heritage Cannabis Holdings Corp. has noted that the installed extraction systems at the PhyeinMed Inc. facility in Falkland, B.C., have received manufacturing certification.
The extraction machines have been calibrated and tested and are now being prepared to receive dried hemp feedstock to begin processing it into high-grade cannabidiol oil. Vitalis's certification guarantees each pressure equipment meets American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) and Canadian Securities Administrators (CSA) standards for boiler, pressure vessel and pressure piping code, and carry CRN and NB registration numbers as confirmation. PhyeinMed extractions machines are also subject to an elaborate internal commissioning process prior to operating.
"As we continue to invest in our growth, the timing couldn't be better to receive certification of our extraction systems. We have positioned ourselves very well to be able to service the rising demand for refined concentrates in Canada," said Clint Sharples, chief executive officer of Heritage. "Execution of our business plan continues to be the focus in our company. A key part of strategy is extracting our own products, as well as offering our services to other licensed producers."
