The ChallengeThe Challenge Dear Reader. This Challenge is to Larry Hoover. He has called me a fool. HE IS NOT A FOOL. So I thought I would be the first to talk about one of my stock market successes and try and try get LAR to talk about his. In 2005, I was with a private company that did a deal for a moly property. That property went into Blue Pearl Mining. Blue Pearl, whose name had been then changed to Thompson Creek Metals, went from $.40 to $25.00 a share by 2007. I had about 300,000 shares, and sold a portion of them at an average price of $17.00 (made $ 3 million). Thompson Creek then proceeded to plunge to $.18 in, I think, 2009. I bought some back. TCM was then taken over at $.78, by Centerra Gold. Everything in the market is timing. My biggest (present) bet is SJL. It has a (ridiculous) market cap of $2.8 million CDN. Houses on my street sell for more than that. The stock is now $.04. I have been associated with SJL and its predecessor since 2006. I think I know SJL better than Larry. That is my story. How about yours.....Larry?
