Neutral2 wrote: Regardless of farm bill passing CBD consumption has even more fragmented regulations then THC, Currently CBD is not federally legal in the USA and due to the patents on its components from pharmaceutical companies I would say it has an even longer road ahead. Canopy will not start crafting and selling CBD drinks in the USA until the Feds are on board. It would be far too risky for them. If you have been following the FDA hearings on CBD consumption then you will have noticed they predicted a 2021 timeline for the framework to be in place for it. I personally feel the US no different than Canada will open up the THC market long before CBD.
