RE:RE:RE:=Patience. Right now the JV is having problems just building the 100s and 300s on order. First need to complete the expansion at Mirabel and then complete the facilities at Alabama. And that ONLY takes care of the 100s and 300s. 
Since it is a stretch, the desgn aspect wont take too long. then you need to build the test models - that is an issue since space is well below current needs right now. 
I would expect some design planning to be done this year - Airbus would certainly give a contract to Bombardier Aerospace for this - but to keep it quiet. I highly doubt any announcements at this years airshow but I am willing to bet maybe at the 2020 Airshow.  That would work with production rampups for the 100s and 300s to be close or over 100 aircraft. 
Certainly, a 500 could be built then. I would not expect one flying until 2021. I may be wrong but logistics just get in the way.
