RE:For all whom are upset

RE:For all whom are upsetHear where you are coming from but I'm not convinced HIP would not survive without a deal with their 7 provincal deals in place.  They were also approached by smaller LPs to sell product, another potential revenue stream.  Regardless, of what any investor may think (myself included) we need to wait for the 2018 Q4 report before drawing too many conclusions on how much this HEXO deal makes sense.

I'm personally very interested in knowing how the CEO goes from making a statement that the company is worth 1.1B ($1.98 / share on buyout) and now it is worth 75% Less... ??

See why there are so many angry shareholders here...

Like my post an hour ago said they did this for survival plain and simple. I know most of you can't understand why they would do this but let's face facts , small cap LPS are aware that most won't be around in 5 years unless they are gobbled up or merge ...the retail long investors in this sector who gamble on small caps have/had high hopes of big returns but like others it just won't materialize .lets be real guys last year article after article came out saying small caps would merge or die soon .so why should anyone be surprised that hip joined a company with the largest government contract going .(and no I currently don't own any Hexo) .

I say this with sympathy and from experience as I believed in HIkU and held many many shares wanting to be in for the long haul but got blindsided by a canopy offer . At the time it seemed down right disrespectful . This was pre constellation brands 5B injection so I felt canopy was over priced at the time and Hiku undervalued  so I wasn't pleased.( plus I owned shares of bedrocan from 2.75 ) so I didn't want all my Hiku rolled into canopy or I would've bought all canopy . But what I am saying is give Hexo a chance you might be pleasantly  surprised by what they might be able to do . Together Hexo with hip they appeal to the younger generation ( wu-tang concert Hexo sponsored .and now hip could be interesting ) . Hexo will also branch out internationally soon .simply put they aren't going anywhere.

As far as lawyer talks fighting this (one post said) ...or voting no don't bother .its just not worth the time and stress...most shares are held by insiders and voted yes and ppl who don't vote basically is a yes vote .so it's waste of time, energy and money ...I too had doja gear and Hiku hoodies and was not happy .pissed actually .but guess what HIKU seen the writing on the wall and took the opportunity and in hindsight I can't blame them .fyi i still rock the gear ...And since then canopy has delivered big time so give Hexo a chance ..or sell..either way don't burden yourself or stress about something you really have no control over and was told could happen all over the sector .
