They got fair value for a company that has laid stagnant for some time. A steal, hard to determine with valuations that are all out of whack for the industry really.  One thing is for certain....for many of these small cap players (HIP, MYM, META, etc.) it's a buyers market....not a sellers market. There is absolutely no need to pay a premium for them...they can just go to the next small fish and buy them instead.  HIP was doing things right in terms of building things from the ground up....but by no means are they "Special"...dreamers need to give their head a big big shake.

HEXO has a flippin' beer deal and has done things far MORE right than HIP ever has.
I'd consider all the the investors lucky to escape this one. HEXO SP over the next year into legalization of edibles/beverages will be a market leader....not a follower.
