RE:Why do it now?

I do hope many sue bigtime. Boeing has an inherently unstable aircraft with the new engines and was counting on a couple of sensors and a computer algorythm to keep it safe.
Bombardier did it correctly by designing the plane around the new engines. Boeing used lawyers and sales talk to downplay the Cseries and promote their garbage plane. Terrible.
Sue them big time.
