Well cobalt is a small market and small things can create big waves.  For instance, what if Mutanda is taken completely offline?  What if battery demand exceeds expectations? What if the DRC issues export quotas?  

We are only at the beginning of the hockey stick demand spike that is coming.  811 batteries are still a couple of years from widespread adoption and the current spot price is below the 20 year average.   I think sooner rather than later the spot price will adjust.
