RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Something to ponder Well the markets aren't always right or Mason wouldn't have 50 million market cap and Syrah wouldn't be worth a small country.  I agree that the market eventually always gets it right, there is money to be made when it corrects.

Management and board right now is good.  The best it has ever been but you said that already.  I think it will help them going forward.  Easily one of the best of all the JVs.

Now this is something I have been thinking about and wouldn't mind your thoughts.  Novonix is a more "proper" business and their lab is Coulometrics so you can't compare that.  And they're selling graphite so they're making money.  However they put themselves in a lot of debt acquiring other companies.  Taking out loans and through PP.  They own it but there balance sheet looks messy.  Novocarbon is acquiring less debt because they don't own these properties. They don't own a mine.  They don't have to maintain a facility.  They have the lab.  This model incurs less debt and more working relationships and expert knowledge.  Both models can work but which is better for this climate?

And oh yeah, Novocarbon are incredibly new.  They're unlikely to get a large order from Tesla so those that think that - don't.  They will most likely be a back-up provider to a large company if lucky and a provider to smaller companies.  However, some companies will have no choice when supply is squeezed and Novocarbon is at least qualifying material.  As long as they're somewhat competent they're fine and they're.  This is not Asbury management that's been around for decades but the options are few.  I generally agree with everything you say about mistakes made but if it's 3 am in the morning and I want chips and the only store open is 7-11 I will go there.  Even if the person at the cash is unprofessional.  That's why we're here.  I wouldn't even give a 3 year window - closer to 2 year window.  The article said 10 yrs.
