Aphria Inc. APHA

Aphria, which is headquartered in Ontario, produces and sells medicinal and recreational cannabis. The company operates through retail and wholesale channels in Canada and internationally. Aphria is a main distributor of medical cannabis to Germany and has operations in over 10 countries outside of Canada. However, it does not have exposure to the U.S. CBD or THC markets due to the constraints of federal prohibition. It has some U.S. exposure through the acquisition of SweetWater, a craft brewer

I really hope something is in fact going on behind the scenes that will make us all very happy even if I do miss a 30% gap up kind of day. Just burnt out a bit so being in cash is mainly just a mental vacation haha.

I guarantee nobody would accept a 30% sp rise in a day as casually as INVESTIGATOR  would have us believe. He is typical of many investors when they refuse to cut their mental ties to a stock find a need to preach to the masses about the perils of being invested in the stock they just ditched. Why? Because the worst thing in their mind is the stock's price taking off while they sit on the sideline trying to work up the courage to jump back in only this time at a much higher price. I'm sure we've all been through the I could of, I would of, I should of lament.

Let's be honest, Aphria has been tracking sideways for the last little while mainly due IMO to the market not getting a sense that the management turnover has yet to be completed. Whenever you get a necessary transition from the old regime to the new there's bound to be a sorting out period when a company has little to say. In a young sector that thrives on hype, silence is not golden. Under the current Chairman Aphria is in good hands but having a company run by a temporary CEO is not the same as if the recruitment drive was ended and any indecision the market may have put to rest. What's nice about their search for a new CEO is that they can hire the best candidate for the job and not worry about a less than ideal person taking on the leadership role just because he founded the company. I look at it as a new CEO will bring a breath of fresh air to Aphria.

I wouldn't write off Aphria as a laggard just yet. Things have a habit of changing quickly in this industry. Look at ACB. A couple of weeks ago it was going nowhere and look what a couple of NRs have done for them. Aphria might have some catching up to do but it will be there when they list the top LPs at the end of 2019. Hope no one will be saying I could of, I would of, I should of, in the coming months.
