Aphria Inc. APHA

Aphria, which is headquartered in Ontario, produces and sells medicinal and recreational cannabis. The company operates through retail and wholesale channels in Canada and internationally. Aphria is a main distributor of medical cannabis to Germany and has operations in over 10 countries outside of Canada. However, it does not have exposure to the U.S. CBD or THC markets due to the constraints of federal prohibition. It has some U.S. exposure through the acquisition of SweetWater, a craft brewer

RE:Aurora Cannabis: Dissecting Its Whistler Acquisition

RE:Aurora Cannabis: Dissecting Its Whistler Acquisition quiet observer did a good comparison between the Aurora acquistion of Whistler and the APHA  acqisition of
Brokern Coast but does not appear to make an adjustment in price paid for the 21% held by Cronos
that Aurora presumably did not get in the deal

"It's worth noting that Cronos (CRON) holds a 21.5% stake in Whistler after investing again in a $75 million financing round in March 2017. It looks like Cronos will be selling its ownership to Aurora."

It seems that the cost of that portion , which at this time is unknown, as Cronos could demand a
significant premium for their shares, will certainly increase the cost of the Aurora deal, which
I dont think quiet observer factored in to the comparison.
