Investment in mining exploration works in Serbia last year totalled $100 million, four times more than in 2010, Antic said in a video file posted on the website of news agency Tanjug on Wednesday. The sharp increase is a direct consequence of the strategic partnership deal for copper producer RTB Bor signed with China's Zijin Mining Group, Antic said. "On the list of the prestigious Fraser Institute we are in the fourth place globally in terms of attractiveness of investment in the mining sector and we should take advantage of that," Antic added. In November, Antic said that Serbia has attracted investment of more than 1 billion euro into its mining sector since December 2014 and currently has 130 exploration fields, while production activities are carried out on about 250 fields.
